Customize where users are redirected after submitting your form, so they land on a page that fits your flow, whether that’s a simple thank-you page or a more specific next step in your funnel. By default, PipedForm shows a generic success message after a submission. You can personalize this by redirecting users to your own page, such as a thank-you page, a confirmation screen, or the next step in your onboarding flow.

Customizing Submission Redirection

You can set the redirect URL through the dashboard or directly from your form.

1. Set via Dashboard

Go to your form’s Settings page, then customize the “Redirect URL” field to fit your needs.

2. Set via Form

The “Redirect URL” setting in the dashboard will be ignored if you use this method. To set it this way, simply add a field with the attribute name="_redirect" and a value attribute containing the URL you want to redirect users to.

Example

Notes:
  • The redirect value must be a valid URL
  • The URL must be an absolute URL (a full URL e.g. https://mysite.com/thank-you), not a relative URL (e.g. /thank-you).
  • Redirecting to a different domain requires a paid plan.
If any of these conditions are not met, this setting will be ignored.
